Gladiator Lacrosse, LLC Announces Casey Powell as its New Brand Ambassador

Gladiator Lacrosse™ is proud to announce that Casey Powell, accomplished lacrosse player, four-time All American and two-time National Player of the year, is now part of the brand’s family.

Gladiator Lacrosse and Casey Powell, currently a major league player for the Florida Launch and one of the most decorated players ever to set foot on a field, celebrated the announcement in Boca Raton, Florida, after many months in the making. The international lacrosse icon and 2014 MVP of Major League Lacrosse will be representing Gladiator Lacrosse as the company’s brand ambassador. Powell’s commitment to the future of lacrosse is evident in his participation in many lacrosse involvements: as a coach for Disney College Spring Training; as the founder of Speed Lacrosse, a modified version of the game; as a player for several pro teams; and as one of the MLL’s top players of all-time. He is also the all-time leading scorer in MLL history and was a World Champion winner with Team U.S.A.

Powell, also founder of the Casey Powell’s World Lacrosse Foundation, has spent decades submerged in his passion for lacrosse and his partnership with Gladiator Lacrosse is no exception. “I am pleased to be part of the Gladiator Lacrosse team. I have always admired quality craftsmanship in products for players and Gladiator Lacrosse offers just that. Plus, I’ve had the privilege of working with someone as talented, young and motivated as Rachel, she is an inspiration,” he explained.

Powell is pursuing a unique and lasting impact alongside Gladiator Lacrosse by offering superior, professional-grade training products to the lacrosse community through a future launch of a Signature Edition Line.

For Gladiator Lacrosse, the choice of working with Casey Powell as brand ambassador extends its long-term commitment to lacrosse players. “We are thrilled to have Casey Powell as a representative of Gladiator Lacrosse; he combines top performance in his sport with elegance and power and he embodies the principles of perseverance through an unwavering commitment to excellence. These are precisely the qualities that we have come to represent in our lacrosse equipment,” said Rachel Zietz, CEO and founder of Gladiator Lacrosse.

Powell earned All-American honors four times (1995-98), including three first-team nods. He was twice the winner of the L.t. Raymond J. Enners Award as the USILA Player of the Year (1997, 1998) and he finished his college career with a then school-record 287 points (158 goals, 129 assists). Powell was also captain of the US Men’s National Team in the 2006 World Lacrosse Championship, including the US Men’s Indoor National Team (2011, 2015).
